Live Music for Corporate Events

We provided a String Trio for Gateley PLC's Spark BBQ Event in their London office recently. As guests arrived, our string trio played light classical music.

Guests were being served drinks and canapes whilst the networking was just getting started. Corporate event live music is a great way of making the event much more 'live'. We see the reactions as guests take photos or film us playing. They often tell us they're enjoying the music and we even get the odd request.

Doing 3x45 minute sets, we had a lot of music to play, so held off with the more lively music until later. Live music for corporate events playing fun and recognisable tunes is excellent. The offices are usually acoustically excellent. The rooms are spacious. And these are rooms that are often used for serious business meetings with no music at all.

We've noticed that for corporate event live music to work effectively, you need to know what you want the music to achieve. If you want a really relaxed and informal atmosphere, then a jazz band may be the way forward. If somewhere between formal and informal, then a string quartet is ideal. Perhaps you want to impress clients, so a big show act will work.
