Solo Cellist

A solo cellist sounds beautiful in a wedding or private party. All our cello players are superb and experienced professionals and we fully guarantee availability upon booking. The elegant sound of the cello is perfect on its own, but some of our cellists also provide some tunes with backing tracks. From solo Bach to John Legend, there are lots of songs that fit the deep and melodic sound of the cello. Small and medium sized events are the most effective to use a solo cellist.

Here in this showreel video we made, Carrie is playing part of a Bach cello suite. It’s been a requested tune for the Bridal Entry music, as well as the Signing of the Register in weddings. Then ‘Can’t Help Falling in Love’ by Elvis with professional backing tracks that she plays through a small wireless speaker positioned next to her cello. This works really well as you have the live sound of the cello with the added bonus of a piano accompaniment. We’ve had great responses from our clients to the sound that this makes.
