London event DJ Guy is a highly experienced and professional DJ. Previous clients include the British Royal Family and Dame Joan Collins for her wedding to Percy. Joan said that the music was exactly what she wanted and Cilla Black said it was the best disco she had ever been to. Following the wedding Guy Stevens was featured in OK! Magazine and the party at Claridge’s was described as ‘wild’.

For Hire in London and the Surrounding Areas
Guy has played in lots of major hotels in London such as the Dorchester, The Berkeley and Grosvenor House, but is also regularly seen at castles, stately homes, country houses and marquees all around the country.
Guy has played at two parties for Dame Shirley Bassey, he has supported Lionel Richie at a party and played for a titled family at their summer villa in Biarritz.
Other events include a 50th Birthday Party at Highclere Castle (AKA Downton Abbey) with guest performer Alexandra Burke. He’s also supported Scouting for Girls and the Drifters for a wedding at the same prestigious venue – and he played three dates at Sting and Trudie’s private Italian retreat just outside Florence, Tuscany.

Tatler’s Bystander covered the Olivier Awards after party and Guy can be seen behind the decks in one of the published pictures. Guests filling the dance floor included Ray Davies (The Kinks), Nicole Scherzinger (Pussycat Dolls and Cats) and Gemma Arterton (Made in Dagenham, St Trinian’s).
Guy has also DJ’d at the Amex annual European sales conferences, with more than 700 guests at venues in Venice, Cannes, Prague and Paris. He has worked for Land Rover in Berlin. He’s also DJ’d at the Sony Radio awards after-party. Plus, he supported Rick Parfitt at the British Grand Prix Ball, Silverstone.
Versatile DJ for Hire
Guy’s main objective is to keep as many people dancing for as long as possible and he wants the guests to leave the party with fabulous memories which will last for many years to come. Guy often plays at corporate after show parties with famous names including: Jonathan Ross, Alan Carr, Graham Norton, Jo Brand, Ruby Wax and Sandi Toksvig.

DJ Equipment
Some venues / clients have their own PA and lighting and Guy will just supply laptop, midi-controller and sound cards. He always carries a hand held radio microphone which you or your guests are welcome to use for speeches.
In general, he uses a black star cloth “booth” which when fitted shows the LED “stars” through the cloth.
If it’s a big venue, equipment includes:
4 x bass cabs (each has a 15″ driver)
2 x mid/top cabs (each has a 15″ driver and HF horn)
1 x active x-over
2 x 1200w amps
Smaller venues:
2 x bass cabs (each has a 15″ driver)
1 x 1200w amp
2 x powered cabs (each has a 10″ driver and an HF horn + internal 1000w amp)
1 x active x-over
Smaller venues (private houses):
2 x powered cabs (each has a 10″ driver and an HF horn + internal 1000w amp)
or sometimes (if he wants more coverage at less volume)
4 x powered cabs (each has a 10″ driver and an HF horn + internal 1000w amp)
Regarding lighting, he has a number of options and usually decides when he arrives at the venue. If there’s room:
2 x 11ft Power-drive stands with two Datamoon’s on each
Or for smaller venues:
2 x Martin Wizards which attach to speaker stands.
As an extra, he can supply a full DMX controlled night-club style lighting system.
He also has his own traditional light oak parquet dance floor, and can supply black & white floor, all black, all white or black or white with LED twinkles. He can also supply illuminated “L-O-V-E” letters.
