Functions best suited to strings are weddings and other smaller events such as champagne receptions, dinner parties, corporate receptions and private parties.
We only use professional musicians at Liquid Strings and many of our violinists, cellists and viola players enjoy busy and varied musical careers. From playing and touring with some of the top London orchestras to recording soundtracks for films, they also love to play at weddings, corporate events and parties. Our players are based in London, but are also available to travel to the surrounding areas (Surrey, Essex, Kent and more).
Hire a Wedding String Quartet
Our string quartets have played at many beautiful weddings, both at the reception and ceremony. We’ve also had the pleasure of playing in all seasons from summer to winter, each with their own unique atmosphere.
When we consult with the bride and groom to be, we are very happy to be led by your choice of songs for your wedding. We can also make suggestions from our extensive repertoire that we feel would be most appropriate, drawing on our many years of experience. Having played at numerous venues both large and small, we have a good feel for what would work well – and our string quartet wedding music includes both traditional classical pieces such as Pachelbel’s ‘Canon’ (a favourite for walking down the aisle) to modern, fun covers of pop songs like ‘Happy’ by Pharrell Williams (great to bring a reception to life!). Current wedding song favourites include John Legend’s ‘All of Me’ and ‘Giorni’ by Einaudi.
