The Museum of London’s new Galleries of Modern London tell the story of modern London and feature several carefully designed spaces that can be hired for fine dining and drinks receptions.
The Sackler Hall is the Museum’s single largest entertaining venue combining a contemporary space with technology suitable for dinners, drinks receptions, award ceremonies, product launches, screenings, presentations and dancing. This unique space offers the option of hosting evening dinners to seat up to 350 guests or drinks receptions for 600 people.
The Sackler Hall features a 48-metre long circular LED ellipse suspended from the ceiling, the only one of its kind in the United Kingdom. Along with nine plasma screens, it can be programmed to display logos, presentations, film or bespoke creative commissions.
The galleries include a unique Victorian Pleasure Gardens, recreating the costumes and entertainment of fashion-conscious Victorian London, while the City Gallery is home to the iconic Lord Mayors State Coach. Both areas provide the ideal setting for smaller events or the perfect addition to an event in the Sackler Hall.
