London Gospel Choir
“The gospel choir were really great. They were upbeat, and really looked like they were enjoying themselves (despite the weather!) – and the customers and staff really loved them too.” (Rebecca Welsh, Senior Creative (Strategy), four23 London. Christmas Event, Soho, London)
LS Gospel Choir are a 16-piece strong London choir available to hire, and they are united by their shared love of gospel music. They believe that Gospel music is for everyone.
With their unique blend of close harmonies and ability to mix traditional gospel with jazz, soul, blues and Latin music, the Choir can be hired as four or five singers with keys right up to the full 16 strong choir. The group was started in 2007 and has become an established act on the European gospel scene. Their members have also provided backing for high profile artists such as Mariah Carey, Leona Lewis, Peter Andre, Beverley Knight and Mica Paris.
If you are looking for an act that is likely to impress almost everyone at your event, then this amazing London gospel choir is the one for you. It’s a triumphant and vibrant sound and heard live it cannot be beaten! It makes a big impact. Even if you only hire four or five singers with keys, you’re still in for a great performance. Whether you’re looking for traditional gospel music, popular songs or a mix of the two, the Choir can deliver. For an additional fee, they’re also able to perform unique versions of songs not already in their repertoire, so you can add an even more personal touch to your event if required.
Although based in London, it’s possible to rent the choir for an event in other counties, such as Surrey, Kent and Hampshire. Events they frequently perform at include proposals, church events, birthday parties, anniversaries, funerals, university graduation and corporate events. They are also available for recording as they have considerable experience of working in studios for recording artists and bands – both with other gospel musicians and solo singers.
The group takes their musical direction from the variety of singers who perform in the choir. Since they have different styles of musicians and singers that make up the choir, they found it was natural to mix traditional gospel music with jazz, soul, blues, classical and Latin music. They are always on a mission to evolve and grow the ensemble, keeping their sound fresh and modern.
We have a great relationship with this choir, stretching back to 2008. They were absolutely fantastic! My partner was very surprised and completely bowled over by the performance – she was particularly pleased about the Stevie Wonder number. All our guests remarked on how brilliant they were. They really were a delight and I would definitely recommend the London choir to others.Jo Hennessey, civil partnership in Town Hall Hotel, London
We had a civil wedding ceremony at the beautiful Islington town hall, and we had hired four of the Liquid Strings gospel singers as a surprise act at our wedding. Their singing was fantastic. We had several 'acts' throughout our wedding day, and the Choir were by far the most complimented and talked about by our guests.David Edison, civil ceremony, Islington Town Hall.
The gospel choir was everything we had hoped for and had contributed to the event greatly. It was a very professional and moving performance on the day and they (and Brian) have been very accommodating throughout.Gary Chu, University of East London, Awards Ceremony.
Thank you all very much.
