Wedding Music Tips Article
We have written an article on wedding music, and are proud to have the article featured on the blog of Ishari De Silva Weddings.
The main thing we always recommend is choose music that you love. Make sure you get some favourite songs in there and so therefore personalise your wedding. Don't worry too much about whether your guests will like the ceremony music - the main thing is that you do! In terms of the dancing part, think about the age range of everyone invited. If it's quite broad, then you want a band or DJ that will be able to cater for that.
So, your DJ or band should be able to wend smoothly from 60s through to the latest chart hits - if they're not up to that, then they may not be right for you. Unless you have more of a young crowd (or old crowd) and are trying to cater accordingly. When you tell the supplier what you're looking for and the average age of the friends present, they should be able to adjust accordingly.
We find the best weddings are the ones when the couple are just relaxing and enjoying every moment - the more they dance, the more everyone else does. You really are the stars of the show and so your loved ones will take your cue on having the best possible time!
