Perhaps you are looking for the perfect proposal in a romantic setting. Live music can make this complete, and a solo violin played beautifully can set the exact tone to a romantic marriage proposal.
For the reception, there are also many excellent options. For example, a string quartet, string trio or string duo for the reception, or a solo harpist, a soprano singer with piano accompaniment, solo piano, solo cello, a classical guitarist, to name a few.
For the ceremony, whether church or civil, a string quartet or just a single violinist will have a beautiful effect, as will a solo pianist or harpist – or something more unusual, like a medieval ensemble, a brass quintet or even a gospel choir.
For the entrance of the bride, a solo instrument can be most effective, and even if you have a string quartet for the ceremony, there can be a solo cello or violinist playing for this special moment. A solo soprano, cello, flute or harp can also be highly effective.
For the wedding dinner, you could have an amplified string ensemble if you are in a large space with many guests. We can provide everything you need for this. If there is a piano in your dining space, then we would recommend a solo instrument such as violin and piano or cello and piano. Popular choices are also string quartet, string trio, vocal ensemble, jazz singer and harpist.
For the after dinner dance, we have a fantastic cover
band, who as well as their own set list, are happy to take a few advance
requests. For the first dance, or just one of your favourite special songs,
they can perform it especially for you on the night.
Please request if you want something different from a cover band. We also
can provide a DJ, or a musical alternative.
