can calm the nerves on such a big day with more down-tempo vibes.
There are several different combinations of jazz musicains available,
all suitable for weddings. As a guide, if you are looking for soft dinner
jazz in different-sized venues, see below –
Small venue jazz
Saxaphone and guitar.
Singer and guitar (bossas and standards).
Medium venue
Sax, guitar and bass.
Singer, guitar and bass.
In a larger venue (with more guests)
Guitar, bass and drums.
Jazz quartets with saxaphone and/or singer.
These combinations can optionally include keyboard players (if the venue has a piano.)
Some more unusual jazz combinations for weddings include:
1930's period jazz
Guitar and violin - a great Gallic/gypsy feel.
Guitar, accordian and violin - a really catchy combination.
guitar and clarinet – traditional jazz and swing music.
For something a little different:
Guitar, organ and drums - great for that 60's soul/jazz
vibe - like James Taylor quartet.
Voice, guitar, organ and drums - Add a singer for a small-scale soul
outfit.
