In
his busy concert schedule Julian has played classical and jazz guitar
at The Cannizaro Park Festival, a tour of Scotland including The Findhorn
Universal Hall, The Edinburgh Festival, Elgin Museum, Hampton Court,
for the Mayor of London at 'The Apothecaries Hall' and a performance
on BBC Scotland plus many other venues and TV recording sessions. His
jazz band and 17-piece big band have played at the Royal Festival Hall
foyer, the 100 club, the Bull's Head, Barnes plus many restaurants,
golf clubs and for weddings all over the UK.
He has been active in fund-raising for The Michael Steiner School, charity work Breakthrough for Cancer and has performed in many nursing homes across London.
Whilst studying at the Royal Academy of Music, Julian was highly commended in the prestigious Julian Bream Prize - "Julian's playing was dramatic yet controlled - a most convincing, musical performance, " Julian Bream.
Julian is an extremely versatile musician. He enjoys performing in different types of venues, from bournemouth hotels, to festivals, and events as diverse as wedding breakfasts, museum openings and jazz festivals. He is comfortable playing solo classical and jazz guitar, accompanying singers and jazz trios, quartets up to large big band and playing pop and soul songs in his function wedding band.
